Why is it that every major company has a catastrophic data breach every 5-10 years which, low and behold, consists of customer data?

It's never really about company compromising intel... only bulk user data that magically gets breached.

It's just an excuse to sell or hand over data to governments & competitors while using a security breach as the scapegoat.
