Covid's real, but I don't see any way they're not lumping the flu into this alongside it. Statistically it doesn't make sense otherwise. The alternative is that they made up all the flu numbers for years, which they somewhat admitted to last year, which isn't any more comforting if they're the same people counting Covid numbers.
I'm sure there's some new variant of things that is Covid since many of the symptoms and treatment are distinct from the normal flu, like loss of smell and taste and things like that. There's no way it's just a rebranded flu. That said, it's probably not very common, and the flu is thrown in alongside that to make it seem more common than it is.
Considering the flu kills children and Covid targets people already dying in most cases, I'm still more worried about the flu.
Prove what? I know normal and rational people that got Covid, verified by tests, and lost their sense of taste and smell for months. They’re the kind of people that’d probably be on this site. Wasn’t all that bad for them but it was indeed not like the flus they’ve ever had in many regards.
I also know one lady that claims to have gotten Covid and lost most of her sight and ability to walk and has been half bed ridden for a year that I’m 99% certain is just crazy or making a disability play.
I don’t disagree that many of the deaths, maybe even most, were probably not from Covid.

The author asserts that it is a moderate-severe version of the flu, rebranded as "COVID-19".
