It just a made up animal from the movie Jaws. They take a real fish, the shark and blow it out of proportions, making it a lot bigger than it is. Why, fear, they want people to be afraid of the water, when in reality there are no sea creatures that can hurt us. The tv lies about just about everything, so if you see one there it probably just CGI.

Or they take something real that causes almost no deaths and blow it out of proportion to make it look real scary. The media have been practicing this for years.
It causes the most deaths out of any marine animal except perhaps jellyfish.
Significantly more people die of drowning sure. Not the point when you are saying causes no real deaths. Sharks are the ocean's biggest mankiller. It doesn't change. Like mosquitoes are the biggest land killer. Followed by snakes. Then perhaps hippos. Are tigers dangerous yes and like bears you should be fearful because it makes you wary.
I don't like the ignorance intoned by this topic.
Not listening to the tv is considered ignorance now,how about that.
