The outdoor dining they have at places is the most hilarious. You go in a restaurant and sit down and take off your mask and eat, or you sit in a box on the street or in the parking lot and take off your mask and eat. Meanwhile there have been no recorded outbreaks surrounding any restaurant to my knowledge, anywhere.
I think it’s more than that. China didn’t plan all this shit, though they’re trying to take advantage like everyone else. Social media made most people lose their minds, on top of now having the hubris to think that we have instant access to an all knowing god of ‘Science’ which is really just click bait journalists and politicians doing what’s best for them.
The real issue with masks and these barriers isn’t that they’re pushing for them, but that people are doing it like lemmings. Tell everyone to wear a diaper on their face in 1900 and it’s not going to happen. Tell everyone now and they’ll show up wearing two or three.
