I get the sentiment the OP is making with this post, but

with the case of Dr. Wang Yanyi, I disagree.

Because,

at the beginning of this whole 2020 pandemic fiasco, the act of sabotage by Shanghai clique was believed to be in play. And more importantly, rather than Dr. Wang Yanyi being a female, the fact that "she's married to a Chinese professor named Shu Hongbing who is closely connected to the top tier factions of Shanghai clique" is much more relevant to what happened from 2012 to the beginning of 2020. -- To elaborate on this point, here is a Reddit post I made about 11 months ago:
