Don't associate with someone because they are boring, hateful, bitter, degenerate, a liar. But "racist" is a very low bar for exclusion. It is like saying I don't associate with people who don't like peanuts. It is for the most part irrelevant.
Racists are not in my group so my "in-group preference" does not include racists.
So why should I not exclude them from my group?
