The program maps the Earth by superimposing satellite images, aerial photography, and GIS data onto a 3D globe, allowing users to see cities and landscapes from various angles. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Earth

It takes pictures...not a live feed. Look up your address or some other location and it's just outdated images pieced together.
