if you own all the farmland, you can control food production
if you control food production, you can control distribution
if you control distribution, you can ensure that only cities get the food to "punish" people who don't want to live in judge-dredd style urban centers
can't have people living on their own without dependence on government

They can't enslave us all. Today's kabbalist wizards need others to desperately want their carrots and sticks. Precisely the problem today is how many have wanted that enslavement. About the most disruptive thing you can do to their plans nowadays, is getting friends and neighbors to believe on the name of Jesus Christ, and into gardening. Going not too far back, nearly everyone in the US had chickens, and some ability to produce food for themselves. Many domesticated city dwellers today however don't even know that they have the option. Spiritually speaking meanwhile, far too many today don't even realize that their trust is being put in things that (unlike Jesus Christ) WILL eventually fail them.
religion isn't the answer, not for me anyway.
if you're a better person thanks to religion thats great for you, but IMO religion is just part of the problem.
you're right about everything else, building a homestead for you and your family is the way to go. buy cheap land in the middle of nowhere and become self-sufficient. it's the only way to get out from under their boot.
solar, well and/or rainwater collection, gardening, chickens/rabbits/goats/etc...
...and gun ownership.

there is a reason certain states are clamping down on who can collect rain water and how much...
even setting up overflow systems to sequester personal portions before returning excesses to their natural flow is "illegal" or "against codes".
they know exactly what they are doing... they want you by the balls.

people who live in the middle of nowhere, who generate their own power and clean water, who grow their own food, who have designed their home and property to be defendable in case of attack...

Yup.im expecting a big push against home schooling smaller farms and ranches and really any self sufficiency.still dont understand why we cant ship all the water that comes up with the oil to Vegas instead of putting it back.

the social stigma against homeschooling has been going on for at least a decade. the narrative is home schooled kids are mal-adjusted weirdos and social outcasts with no personal skills...
