The tragic death of Sarah Everard has instigated a national demand for action to tackle violence against women," David Lammy, the shadow justice secretary, said in a statement.

Somebody ask Lammy what a woman is. Because up until now, the Labour Party has defined "woman" as any man who says he's one.

The LP has campaigned to put rapists in women's prisons and shelters, allow men to sleep with little girls (in their version of the Girl Scouts) and allow any man to access any space where women and children are vulnerable, just on his say-so that he's really a woman inside. This in spite of the fact that this policy has already resulted in women and children being assaulted..
