Maybe because they count any sort of death as covid death?
Canadian here, can confirm, we literally had a car accident death count as covid

yeah I was thinking it must be because they changed the parameters of the PCR tested cases to have a secondary test but didn't change the parameters in which they contribute deaths. My buddies sister tested positive.. asymptomatic of course, so the rest of his family got tested and all were negative. which is bizarre since they live in the same household and this virus is the most deadly contagious virus ever lol..
Although she never had to get a second test.. she just had to quarantine for 2 weeks and could return to school with out a positive test, which is also silly.
