0 If directv (satellite tv in general) were real, explain to me why the dish at our home is not constantly moving to catch up to the satellite in space. It could easily be a fixed transmitter that broadcasts bounces off of the atmosphere from a certain location on earth. There are multiple satellites in the same orbit. The dish shape helps to gain signals from a certain area in the sky but is also shaped that way for it's visual appeal. A closed system does not necessarily mean a small system.
