Out near Beaumont Texas, been green lawns since yesterday. My poor snowman died today. Literally never lost power, never got to burn any of my 40 cans of sterno, did find out propane freezes but only because I wanted to melt snow with my propane torch, playing in snow was fun as hell.

Everyone bitching should have done some prepping to survive 2-3 days without anything. Preppers get a bad rap but when people can't function a week without a store it's pathetic.

Maybe for Dallas but what about the lower income suburbs?

I was in the oak cliff area which is about the worst of the lower income suburbs in Dallas county, and ran to a few different home depots and hardware stores in the dallas area trying to find parts to fix my customers water line. most stores were open, ice was completely melted besides under shaded areas like trees. my point was just that the area is clearing up, so there will be no excuse for the various companys to get out and get to fixing things.

I commend you for your work during the awful weather. I think another point that needs to be made is how pipes have broken and water has been contaminated. Humans can only survive 3 days without water.
