Lincoln wasn't anti-slavery though he just used that to help support the war. Believe it or not the war had very little to do with slavery.

Well, part of it was slavery. But yeah, saying the war was fought over slavery as if that were the only issue is an inaccurate and grossly over simplified view of the war.
