Star Wars program; wouldn't blow up the nuke, just disable it. Fairly easy tech really. Missile has a computer inside controlling the nuke. All a computer is is 1's and 0's. You can 1 and 0 a code/signal designed to scramble or simply disrupt a computer's system. Nuke hits the ground, doesn't go off though, computer controlling it's been shut down.
Really, ask the question: Would I build a super weapon that could destroy a city, but NOT have a way to defend against it if I ever needed to? Doesn't make much sense does it?
Another small point, this is old old tech all of this. I remember reading about 'non contact crowd control weapons' when I was in high school ( early 90s' ). Energy weapons that were really, just a certain frequency pointed at individuals. A frequency to make you all of a sudden feel like you're going to puke would be pretty easy to figure out = you would have to leave the scene. This was a brief description of what I read was available back then, 30 years ago.
The radio towers transmitting signals is old news : Montauk Project did something in this vein.
Also, currently there exists a company that can literally read your mind to see what your eyes are seeing. Their end goal is be to replay a person's memories to see if they committed a crime. Sounds insane, but I've seen two shows that have featured this company and their tech. One is that "in search of" and I friggin can not remember the name of the other show : dude's a filmmaker Chris something...
The thought police are on their way.
Pandemics also occur around the Presidential election years.
I'd have to find it again, but I saw something a while back about EMF being able to depress the immune system. So this led to some people's concern about 5g making the China virus worse. This was the co-opted by the media into the "5g causes covid" conspiracy that they used to discredit any valid concerns.
