Yes, that was hard for them, to overcome and oppress that diversity. "Accidentally" latest coronahoax helped a lot to find a way of forcing identical measures in all countries, ignoring all that diversity. We, russians, do attempts when we try to do something, and stop them when that attempts succeed. If the attempts are not successfull, we tell that they are failed, not over. Putin did not tell, that attempt failed.
