"Hopeful in the face of repeated disappointment.." To what end does that serve? What was the point? What was achieved by "keeping people hopeful"?
The elites goal is always to prevent an armed insurrection -- against them.
Always. Always. Always.
Bread and circuses. Political theatre. All to keep the eyes and arms off them.
