I think so. I think China intentionally released it and then used it as an opportunity to weaken America's economy(Trump's selling point) to get him out of office after 1 term.

No, but a weaker variant is released to America.
But otherwise, yes, it seems like they wanted Trump to go and they did it. Notice that under Trump rule mass media censorship went worse and no solution to Covid was given but groomer like abuses were handed out either. Both puppets are the best actors of this world.
