It's great to be able to find other dissenters online, but in my personal life sadly I'm the only one I know who is questioning all this. But I live in a big left wing city. I'm not one of those people who will go around trying to aggressively redpill others, but I do try to drop pointed, emotionally neutral suggestions here and there to get people thinking, and you can see the firewall that has been erected in people's minds that immediately goes off. It really is mass psychosis. The only previous mass delusion on this scale has to be the holocaust narrative, but this is happening in real time, so it's way scarier to see.
They've been trained in a very pavlovian way to love state control. I think part of it at least is that many of them especially on the far left are oversocialized and thus end up brainwashed by the mainstream media. They also rely on their 'preist class' - media figures, politicians, celebrity doctors like Fauci, technocrats and moguls like Gates - to give them their social cues and tell them what to think in a way that other groups in our society do not. You'll see this effect where someone from their preist class goes on Twitter and makes a blanket proclaimation involving a questionable leap of logic, but anyone who comes in and questions the logic, even in good faith, is immediately attacked. Fear also plays a role, especially with boomers. Covid propaganda has been successful in a large part because the boomers have such a fear of death. They are high on self importance relative to other generations, and have lost what might be called the tragic sense of life. Also on the left, you have some people who are just physically weaker than others, and one thing they don't like you to know is that physical strength or lack thereof has a big impact on one's conception of morality. So you have these weak people who like to see the state go out and stamp its boot on people who are stronger because they see it as a 3rd party leveling the playing field for them (same reason why physically weak peoples are drawn to communist ideas). They don't understand that in the long term it doesn't really work to their benefit either, but these people tend to be overly emotionally reactive and do not consider the long term consequences. Lots of factors go into the great love of the state we've seen from people over the past year.
Lady I knew was hysterical about the thought that her kids might have in person schooling and was freaking out about their "safety." Despite the fact that her kids are about a million times more likely to die in an auto accident on the way to school than from Covid. It's the propaganda machine. Not to mention they kept changing the narrative to keep people purposefully confused and scared.
yeah, I've pointed out to people I know "look at places like San Francisco, 4x the number of deaths via overdose as covid" and they're just like well I guess it can't be helped. All because there's no media hysteria over overdoses like there is with covid. It's crazy.
I'll probably become more sane if I believed that this scamdemic will sooner or later reach an end in some form of way.
But unfortunately, I do not. I foresaw a 30+ year totalitarian measure enforced plandemic. I believed that if this was literally just flu they can and will do anything.
You may call it a paranoid delusion, but I failed to even retain a sane composure or moral code not majorly because of the lockdowns and masks, but majorly having been foresaw inevitable, absolute death to all of humanity save for a select few.
Anecdata : the people i know that are completely bought into covid had emotional /personality disorders prior to the scamdemic
Now I know who the sane people are in my life and sadly there are very few.

I live in an deep blue lib 'burb where people put signs on their lawns that say "we where a mask in this town" "we follow the science "
A few based neighbors gather quietly so our kids get to play but it's depressing that no one is questioning any of this a YEAR later
Also live in a big left wing city. After all of this, am convinced it's time to move far away to a rural area.
Wow that saddens me to hear. I'm sorry
I live in Hong Kong and I am the ONLY person who ever talks like this in Asia.
Not Hong Kong. Not China. Not even Japan. ALL OF ASIA!!
I'm old enough to remember when not leaving your house for a year was a certifiable mental disorder.
