So, this might be why Yossi Cohen flew over and met Mike Pompeo on the evening of the Jan 11, since the top echelon of Israel have heavily invested in numerous Chinese enterprises and all.

Pompeo is def. a friend of israel.
I think China saw what mossad was doing (slow economic buyout of critical infrastructures and gov't infiltration) and wanted to do it too.
No Jewish privilege for them though. Neocons are in bed with Israel FOREVER since 9/11. They have deep dirt on one another. (they killed 3k+ americans in a planned FF).
Keep that in mind.
I don’t really think it matters if Pompeo was best buddies with Al Qaida at this point. China is the preeminent global threat socially, economically, and militarily and they have been allowed to run unchecked for a couple of decades. Afaik, anyone supporting their regime at this point needs a serious bitch slap.
