Is that really the last one (would line up with Salem) and are we now entering one? I have a weird gut feeling that the prevalence of “magic” on earth correlates with, for lack of a better term, cosmic energy. If this goes back further in time I’d love to see what ~1 a.d. looked like lol
Actually Hancock and Carlson, who’s work I respect a lot, have linked the (cyclical) destruction to asteroids/comets, I believe their theory is that every 12,000 years the orbit of the Sol system passes through an area of space dense with debris from an all but forgotten cataclysm.
There’s a lot there to dissect. The ancient stories of a sister to earth whom was consumed in a great cataclysm (Tiamat and Marduk), our ~24,000 year precession of the equinoxes, the mountains of evidence for cyclical resets of humanity, the fact that atleast one group on earth knows about this and uses it and the other forgotten knowledge to their great effect, and so on.
Wow very interesting just from skimming the wiki, yet more evidence of the advanced astrological knowledge of the ancients. The Vedas get nowhere near as much attention as they deserve in the West. Hell if you say hindu/india to the average American they’ll probably mention something about an elephant with a bunch of arms
I think it’s basically a contract that our souls enter into to experience, learn, and grow. That would cease to be possible if some real shithead soul got incarnated, figured out nukes and bathed the planet in fallout.
