Three days ago, I was given a temporary ban for "trolling," as it was explained in the message. I know I'm not the first one to receive a ban here, temporary or otherwise, but I wanted to highlight the hypocrisy of this forum's mantra on free speech.
It's okay to post a new topic every minute for 10 minutes straight (you know who you are) and not have to worry about repercussions. It's okay to brigade someone when they ask for proof to a claim or point out that a post is easily proven false. It's okay to call out all of the social media platforms banning conservative, Q and Trump supporting accounts across the internet but turn around and ban someone here for doing nothing different. The rules are nebulous for a reason.
I want everyone to know this isn't a bastion of free speech. Not for anyone who goes against the unofficial narrative, it isn't. Step out of line, ask questions, call out hypocrisy and falsehoods, and you run the risk of being left out of the party. This forum is meant for a very specific kind of person with a very specific set of beliefs, regardless of the truth, logic and reason.
For what it's worth, I don't give two shits about the downvote brigades. I realize I'm the pariah here. What I do care about is the sense of superiority shared here when this site is run no differently than any other social platform, regardless of size. You. Are. Not. Safe. For. Free. Thought.
Anyway, ask me almost anything! I'll answer anything that doesn't doxx me or put my family in danger.
I haven't used reddit in a while. I was an active r/conspiracy user until late 2019 when Axo banned me. I was "trolling" apparently, but no reference to which post was made and none of my posts had been removed. I had been an active member of that sub for nearly a decade at that point, so that sucked.
I don't use Facebook, who in their right mind would? I don't have an issue with banning users for rule violations of a particular platform. That's what's different here. I was banned because I speak my truth and go against the Trump cult narrative. They'll call it trolling or whatever, but my post history shows that I engage in meaningful discussions.
Someone replying to every one of my comments with "shill alert!" is trolling...
I was not trolling. I forgot exactly what it was I posted, but it clearly debunked something he posted earlier in the thread. Boom. Banned.
I don't believe open dialogue is antagonization.
I don't want to sound arrogant or holier than thou, but very little here goes over my head.
