Do they own the electricity too? Because if it comes down to it, they will make the energy company refuse to do business with them. Or the ISP. Or they can be blacklisted on DNS like some sites are already. Or someone can plant something illegal like CP, and FBI will raid the place and seize the servers. I don't want to be the guy that brings bad news but if TPTB want to shut down something, they will.

There's illegal content all over Facebook and Twitter, so long as they look like they're dealing with illegal content, they'll be good. Technically, yes the FBI could plant something illegal but they won't. It's have to be extremely sophisticated and elaborate and with the media scutinity at present, I don't think people would believe it.
