I have always wondered about this.

Johnny asks Dean what he got Frank for his Birthday and you can clearly hear him say on NATIONAL TELEVISION - How do you wrap Glands?

I love Dean's music, but this would be really disheartening, especially this being 45 Years old. 12/12/1975
