The easiest fix would be to implement a profanity filter. If "hate speech" words offend you, use the filter to list words you are not comfortable with reading. Instilling power to any person or group of persons to designate what words are ok for the user to read is the issue. Let that responsibility fall upon the one reading it. The list should not be created by mods, but generated by the individual.
