Team Trump's strategy would have included legalities in their planning and those legalities have a certain pace to them as motions are filed, paperwork reviewed, and hearing dates set. The Constitution requires certain things happen at certain times.
Though the legal courts are important, so is the very fickle court of public opinion. Public interest tends to help the courts & bureaucracies move faster. Lin Wood's tweets seem to be part of that sort of larger strategy.
