An interesting read for sure. Written by a cataclysmologist, this book begins with a discussion on how the viscous layer of magma beneath the earth's crust would be affected by a collapse of the planet's magnetic field and goes on to relate those impacts to the stories found common in religions and ancient texts across the world.
