I recently got Initiation Into Hermetics, but I must admit that it has been kind of difficult to make my way through. There is a crazy amount of detail for something so... abstract.
It can be tough at times. I've been slowly making way through it for some time but it definitely has not been easy. However, even at this limited stage I'm in, I can feel myself reaping some small rewards. I can only imagine how transformative it is when you really complete the whole thing.

I intend to, I just put it down to reread some Plato, and didn't pick it back up yet. I will tell you one thing: the explanation of the understanding of the four primary elements blew my mind with how well it validated the thought process I (as someone who has studied philosophy, and never quite 'got' the preSocratics) until then COULD NOT FUCKING COMPREHEND. Now it lines up pretty well with the modern scientific explanation of the Big Bang, and how reality, cooled, moistened, and refined itself into coherence. Trippy shit, man...
