You can see the curvature of the earth from a commercial jet, or even from the top of a mountain...
I only saw it on one flight where the pilot said he was taking us to max altitude to avoid some turbulence. He said we were at 35k ft and I could see it just barely
That is not true at all. Even Scientists agree that you cannot see it from there, or where the redbull jump was done from. There is a you tube video of Neil Degrasse Tyson where he admits this.
