Read that statement again. You work on the change WITHIN and then you remove the splinter from your neighbor. It's both.
Right but the point is the timber in your eye is more than enough to occupy you 100% of your waking life.
By the point where the timber has been removed from your eye you have become a Jesus-like being and are the ultimate “good example” to your brother.
Not that you start on a diet and can all of a sudden diagnose the ills of your brother.
Nobody's saying that.
