Also, how will they wind it down? Dry up testing locations? Change the cycle count? Changhe death reporting codes?

Like in 2010, once the vaccine is set, there will suddenly be no more news reporting and testing will stop. So that is a possibility. Another is they may want to drag it on this time for years with continuous booster shots or for other motives.
